No matter what your goal may be, you have to invest your time and energy to make it happen.

Learning new ways to manage concerns or problems, like caring for a loved one, often requires time and energy. There is information out there that can help you be successful. There are support groups and there are a number of on line resources that can support you when you are feeling alone in your struggle.

Start out by realizing that asking for help is the first step.  Let people help you. Contact your local church or senior center to find out what resources they are aware of.  Look on-line for support group information in your area.  Check with assisted living centers and see what groups they are aware of.  Often doctor's offices know of specific groups that meet to discuss certain diseases.  If the situation you are dealing with is a neurological one, check with your neurologist for support group information.

Never feel like you are alone. There are plenty of people out there that are having the same issues you are. Learning how to manage and cope is a process. What are your concerns?

Let us know and we can offer some suggestions. Feel free to leave comments here or on our Facebook page. “Now let’s get going!”  xo Sally
