How do you do that? Be a good listener. Be respectful. Be compassionate. Be helpful.
Who doesn’t appreciate those behaviors? We all do. They show signs of strength-not weakness.
The real lesson is that when you demonstrate these behaviors, you teach others how to appreciate people in return. That is an invaluable lesson that we all need to keep in mind.
